I have been going to this place for over a year now. My now, fiancée took me when we first started dating. This was her go-to spot with her friends. I didn't even know this place existed before! I have been missing out...
The food is AMAZING. I haven't tried anything there that I didn't like. My all time favorite, I would have to say, is the spicy chicken feet. It is delicious. I have cravings and we would go so that I can fulfill it. It is the BEST.
The staff is very friendly and we go so often they recognize us. This is definitely my favorite spot to chill and drink in K-town with my fiancée.
If you haven't tried this place yet... what are you waiting for?! -

JJAN is a perfect low key place to gather with friends for some delicious Korean pub food and drinks!
I came here on a Friday night with a group of 6 and it was great! The vibes were super chill and the music was loud enough for us to be as loud as we wanted while not being overbearing. The service was also excellent, they were all very kind and helped us whenever we needed it.
In terms of food, they have all kinds of great options! JANN has all the typical Korean pub foods like budaejigae (army stew), spicy pork, spicy chicken and cheese and even the unique 420 Fries which is a basket of fries loaded with cheese and Hot Cheetos - highly recommended! They also have a wide variety of soup dishes that go perfectly with some Hite beer and soju. The drink menu is huge so give anything a try, it's probably good!
Overall, it may be located away from other popular spots but JJAN definitely has the vibes to keep your party going! -

Stay away from 'In-Seng-Mak-Chang'... got food poisoning from it and barely survived.. took me 2-3 days to flush out whatever I had in my stomach..
Don't get me wrong. Food tasted awesome, but someone did not clean the ingredients well. I guess that's the risk I was willing to take when I ordered it... if you like lose some few pounds, go for it -

I came here on a Friday night at almost 7 PM, and our party of 3 was seated right away. The pub is small-average size, and there were a good amount of patrons there already. As the night went on, the place got packed, so plan accordingly!
We ordered a pitcher of beer, chicken wings, French fries with cheese, an egg, and hot cheetos, corn cheese, and fried dumplings. Everything tasted good, but the corn cheese and the dumplings were my favorite! The dumplings were juicy and the corn cheese had the perfect amount of sweetness. My only issue with JJAN is their water. It tasted stale, and it became obvious it was tap water. Our group ended up drinking more beer, so we didn't have to drink the water.
Service was fine, parking is free and self-serve, but it does get full quick.
The great part about this place? We didn't realize it was happy hour from 5:30 PM - 2 AM, so prices are amazing!
Good place overall to hang out and chill with friends. -

This is THE SPOT. Hands down! Me & my friends love korean style bars & food, & we've been hunting around Ktown for awhile to find a solid place that had amazing food & great customer service. We went on a Saturday night & to our surprise was immediately seated. The waiter & waitress that served us was really friendly, always answering any questions we had about the menu since it was our first time!
OK NOW TO THE FOOD. we ordered 420 fries, spicy pork belly (this one was so good we ended up ordering 2 plates & devoured it all), the cheese bath spicy chicken, corn cheese, a bottle of soju, & the apple beer drink.
420 fries: oh my goodness. CRISPY FRIES WITH HOT CHEETOS, DRIZZLED IN SOME KIND OF SAVORY SAUCE, & AN EGG ON TOP. Say less. It was the first dish we got & we killed it in minutes. The egg yolk was runny & everything tasted so well together. I was worried it would be salty but it was fine!
Spicy pork belly: this one was my favorite dish out of all the ones we ordered! It came in sizzling hot, the fat melted in my mouth, what else do I have to say. I'm picky about how my meat is marinated but this was marinated well. I may be biased because I love pork belly, but I recommend this to any of my pork lovers out there.
Cheese bath spicy chicken: THE CHEESE PULL YOU GUYS! One thing I noticed for a lot of other korean style bars that sell this is that they kind of lack on how much cheese they put in the meal. But this had the right amount, it was spicy, & flavorful!
Corn cheese: again, plentiful cheese pulls! Can't say much about this plate, which isn't a bad thing! It's like any other place & it's still good hehe.
I will definitely come back. The food was great, & the customer service was phenomenal for a packed Saturday night.
